Becca - Kennel Assistant
Becca is a senior at Manzano High School and is currently doing her internship
with us. She is enrolled in the Pre-Vet program through CEC. Becca also is our kennel assistant. She has been with us since
the summer.
Matt - Technician
Matt recently joined our practice in July. He graduated from the Vet Assistant
Program at PIMA. In his spare time, Matt likes to skateboard and paint. He lives with his girlfriend and they have 2 dogs
and a fish.
Kayrine- Technician
Kayrine has been with our practice since Oct 05. She received her veterinary
assistant certificate through PIMA. She has 2 dogs, Maya & Neeko, who run the roost at her house. Kayrine has a son and
a daughter & another daughter on the way! She is due at the beginning of May. In her spare time, she and her boyfriend
like to go camping, ride ATV's, and go hunting.
Carrie- Practice Manager
Carrie has been working at both hospitals since Nov 1993. She has been receptionist, technician, and now our Practice
Manager. She has been in the veterinary field for over 20 yrs. She is married and has a daughter. She also has
a rottweiler at home named Phoebe. In her spare time she likes to play with her 1 yr old, go camping, and four wheeling.
Shannon - Technician
Shannon received her Veterinary Assistant Certificate through PIMA over a
yr ago. She has been with our practice for a year. When Shannon isn't working, she likes to hang out with her friends.
Tess - Receptionist/Technician
Tess received her Veterinary Assistant Certificate from PIMA this last
spring. She has been with us since Jan 09. Tess is married and has a son and is pregnant with her 2nd child. Tess is
currently on maternity leave and we wish her the best with the delivery of her second son!!
Ashley - CVT/Operations Manager
Ashley is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She became registered in 08.
She started with our practice in Jan 09. She lives with her fiance, Kevin and they have a dog named Fumble. She is getting
married April 2010. Ashley is a Green Bay Packers fan and loves Sunday night football!!!
Brittany - Receptionist
Brittany is our new receptionist on the dog side!!! She moved here from
Maryland and is going to school here. She is a great asset to our practice! She is full of energy and very bubbly! Please
welcome her to our practice when you meet her!
April - Technician
April is a recent graduate of PIMA with a certificate for veterinary assistant!
April is married & has 2 cats named Thomas & Fuzzy Bear. April likes to play frisbee golf especially in the summer!
She also likes to go camping.
Katie - Kennel Assistant
Katie is one of our newest team members! She helps Becca take care of the
kennels. She has a very soft demeanor so the animals respond well to her. Katie is married and is in her 2nd year at
UNM. She is studying pre vet. Katie and her husband have 1 dog named Falco. In her sparetime, Katie likes to play
games and take road trips. She also has a love for art.
